One can get the complete office suite in China for a mere $29.According to the Microsoft Corporation this one of the newest ideas to prevent piracy in the Chinese mainland. According to a report about 95 percent of all copies of Office in China are illegal copies. Thus to stop this act Microsoft has decided to sell its Office Suite at such a small price. And the technology giant has profited from the technique. According to senior Microsoft officials, the sale of Microsoft Office Suite in China has increased by 800 percent since the start of this scheme in September last year.
This surely appears like a case where crime pays big dividends, surely robbing people in the west who still have to pay through the roof to get Microsoft products. We wonder when will we get a price break?
